The charity was set up in June 2011 with the aim of raising awareness of cri du chat syndrome and providing support to families with children that suffer from the condition. 70% of the income that we raise is shared between cri du chat syndrome support group, a special needs school in Welton and other groups and individuals associated with cri du chat syndrome. 12.5% of the money we raise is put towards research of the condition, and another 12.5% towards our long term project in setting up a respite care centre to provide specialist equipment, long term care and respite for families affected by cri du chat syndrome. The final 5% is put aside for administration and promotional costs. We would like to extend our gratitude to all of our members and donators for all of the help and support we have received since Harry's Fund was founded.learn more
We gratefully accept all donations and attempt to re-home every item that we receive, putting all the proceeds towards our goals.

Every Sunday, you can find our team at North Cave Sunday Market and Car Boot.
The support group is open to all but primarily made up of families and relatives of those with CdCS, and includes research members who have expressed an interest in the condition.
The school motto - “we all achieve” - is at the forefront of all of their planning and all the work they undertake, which they ensure is always for the benefit of each and every one of their pupils.
We support various individuals and families living with Cri du Chat syndrome helping to provide much needed funds for equipment, care, etc.
Improving the quality of life of those with the condition, as well as their families.
